I may not be the brightest crayon in the box, but it seems to me that once again the little guy is getting the shaft in all of these so-called bailout plans. I can understand the need to keep these giant companies going for the good of the economy, but think about the mom and pop operations that have already or are about to close their doors. I think the government is once again sending a message to the working class that they don't matter as much as the big boys.

To whom does a small business turn when there is not enough business to keep it going? We need something akin to a FEMA for small businesses in trouble. (SBEMA -- Small Business Emergency Management Administration.)
Working-class and poor people will only be ignored for so long before the situation becomes ugly.
