The Board of Directors for the Strafford Fire Protection District will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. today at Fire Station 2 on Route YY.
Many of the agenda items will be in regard to the transition the department is making as it moves to a career department.
Discussion will include benefits for employees, housing arrangements and development of an employee handbook. The meeting is open to the public.
