Norman, Okla. -- Blake Griffin scored 25 points and pulled down a career-high 21 rebounds, freshman Willie Warren added 20 points and No. 12 Oklahoma overcame the highest scoring game of Stephen Curry's career to beat No. 21 Davidson 82-78 on Tuesday night.

Curry tried to will his team back from a 21-point deficit in the second half, and got the Wildcats within three points with a 3-pointer in the final minute.
But Griffin, a fellow preseason All-America, snagged a key offensive rebound to help the Sooners close it out with three free throws by Cade Davis.
Curry scored 44 points on 12-for-29 shooting and went 6-for-15 from 3-point range.
The Sooners advanced to the semifinals of the NIT Season Tip-Off next week in New York.
- No. 7 Texas 76, Tulane 51: At Austin, Texas, Damion James scored 16 points as Texas cruised.
Dexter Pittman, a 6-foot-10, 300-pound junior forward, muscled over the Green Wave for 10 points and six rebounds in his second career start for the Longhorns (2-0), who had five players score in double figures.
- No. 24 Kansas 85, Florida Gulf Coast 45: At Lawrence, Kan., Sherron Collins had a career-high 25 points and Kansas raced away in the CBE Classic after raising its 2008 national championship banner.
The Jayhawks (2-0) swarmed Gulf Coast from the opening tip, starting with a 13-2 run, building the lead to 32 by halftime.
- Baylor 90, Centenary 55: At Waco, Texas, LaceDarius Dunn scored eight consecutive points to start an early 16-0 run that put Baylor firmly in control.
Curtis Jerrells had 20 points and eight assists for Baylor (2-0), while Dunn finished with 18.
- Texas A&M 55, Stephen F. Austin 48: At College Station, Texas, Bryan Davis scored 16 points and had a key block as Texas A&M avoided an upset.
The Aggies led 44-42 with 4:41 remaining when Stephen F. Austin's Matt Kingsley appeared to have an easy basket inside, but Davis blocked the shot.
- Montana State 85, Colorado 82: At Boulder, Colo., Bobby Howard scored 24 points and Marquis Navarre hit a shot late in overtime as Montana State held off Colorado.
Navarre's runner in the lane with 52.7 seconds remaining in the extra period broke a tie at 80.

- Northern Illinois 86, Indiana State 79: At Dekalb, Ill., Mike DiNunno and Darion Anderson scored 27 points each to lead Northern Illinois.
Rashad Reed led Indiana State (0-1) with 21 points.
- Evansville 75, Oakland City 51: At Evansville, Ind., James Haarsma scored 13 points off the bench to lead Evansville.
