Rutgers (2-0) scored the first nine points and held Princeton (1-1) scoreless for a span of eight minutes in building a 30-4 lead 12 minutes into the game.

The comfortable advantage afforded Rutgers coach C. Vivian Stringer the luxury of playing all 12 of her players in a half in which nine players scored, led by Prince's nine points. One game after scoring 32 bench points, Rutgers' reserves poured in 28 points against Princeton.

Whitney Downs scored a team-best 10 points for Princeton.

Florida State (2-0) built a 25-20 halftime lead after trailing 7-1 to start the game.

The teams tied or traded the lead nine times in the turnover plagued first half in which the Seminoles committed 15 turnovers and the Opsreys 17.

Jadhken Kerr scored 13 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead the Ospreys (0-2).
