Bradley Lynn Fortner, 32, was sentenced to 47 years and eight months in federal prison without parole.

The court also ordered him to pay a total of $15,752 in restitution to the banks in addition to $3,195 that was recovered by Springfield police officers from one of the robberies.

Earlier this year, Fortner pleaded guilty to two separate indictments that charged him with three bank robberies and two counts of brandishing a firearm during a bank robbery.
